Dr. Chris Poulos

Dr. Chris Poulos is an accomplished dentist, consultant, broker, and author who currently serves as the Greater Boston Director Dental Broker for UDBA. With a career spanning roles as a practice owner, partner, and associate, Dr. Poulos brings a 360-degree perspective to the dental industry.

​

Recently, Chris transitioned from his role as a successful MB2 partner after the sale of his practice. He remains a dedicated Ambassador and shareholder for MB2 Dental, leveraging his firsthand experience to guide others through the evolving landscape of dental partnerships.

​

A lifelong educator, Dr. Poulos has served on the clinical faculty at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine and continues to shape the next generation of clinicians through the Massachusetts Dental Society Mentor Program. His insights have been featured in dental journals across New York, Massachusetts, and South Korea, as well as in MB2 Cerebro and a co-authored, published book with Dr. Marvin.

Personal Life

​

Dr. Poulos resides in the Greater Boston area with his wife, a practicing physician, and their three children. Outside of his professional endeavors, he is a formidable endurance athlete. An accomplished runner and triathlete, Chris has secured numerous age-group medals and has successfully completed triathlon and running distances ranging from local 5K’s and sprints to  grueling Marathons and Ironmans.

Dr. Marvin Amayun

With over two decades of clinical excellence, Dr. Marvin Amayun brings a uniquely multidisciplinary perspective to his work. After earning degrees in Biology and Business Administration from Cal Poly, Pomona and receiving various awards, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Harvard University and completed advanced residency training at The University of Texas, Houston. He also trained as an EMT.

Based in Chicago since 2004, Dr. Amayun’s professional life is defined by a dedication to diverse clinical settings and community service. His personal philosophy centers on the "well-rounded professional," arguing that true fulfillment comes from integrating one’s career with outside interests. This belief is reflected in his work as a consultant and writer.

Personal life and Philosophy

​

Dr. Amayun believes the most effective, inspired dentist is one who is fully, thoughtfully, and passionately well-rounded. He views his profession not as a limit, but as a gateway to a life of broader horizons and deeper connections. A California native by upbringing, Dr. Amayun lived in both San Francisco and Los Angeles before relocating to the Chicago area to establish his practice. Today, he and his wife are proud to call the Chicago suburbs home as they raise their two children.
